Special ProgramsAt Little Flower, we integrate Special Programs to enhance the learning experience for the children. These programs are designed to enrich specific educational areas as well as supplement the overall experience of Child Care at Little Flower.Jesus Time Each day the children participate in “Jesus Time.” During these lessons, the children become familiar with Scripture, lives of the saints, and doctrinal truths through stories, pictures, songs, dance, role play, puppets, videos, and interaction with others.
Religious experiences continue throughout the day at Little Flower. Children are introduced to the existence of their Creator, the beauty of nature, and learn to develop a relationship with Jesus as their Friend, that He will help them and take care of them. They learn that they can talk to Him anytime, anyplace, and He will hear their prayers. Kidfit Once a week, the children at Little Flower Missionary House participate in “Kid-Fit,” a licensed physical education program designed to teach children the importance of building healthy lifestyle habits.
Computer Lab Little Flower Missionary House utilizes computers as an effective tool to enhance reading and math readiness.
Spanish Being bilingual in today’s society is not an option but a necessity. Little Flower Missionary House begins exposing children to Spanish as a second language. Children learn basic words and phrases that help them identify objects and make simple requests in Spanish.
